Our recently built cottage sits on our 35 acre family farm over looking the stunning Preminghana (Mount Cameron West) & Anne Bay in beautiful Marrawah Tasmania. The beach is only a 5 minute walk down the road.
Marrawah is situated 51 Kilometres west of Smithton and only an hours drive from Stanley.
The Marrawah Inn is conveniently only a 5 min drive where you can get a great meal 7 days per week.
Marrawah, Tasmania’s westernmost community sits on the gateway to the Tarkine. To the north is the historic property of Woolnorth & Cape Grim. Tours are offered of this historic property, click here for further details.
To the south, is the Arthur River cruises. They offer 2 cruise boats that meander up the stunning Arthur River. Click here to make a booking or for more details. To the east is Smithton & Stanley. Smithton is Circular Heads largest township, here you will find everything you need such as Woolworths, clothing stores pharmacies, post office and Doctors. Stanley is nestled under the historic Stanley Nut, a sheer sided, flat topped volcanic plug that sits 143m over the township of Stanley. Summary: Ours is a return visit to Mount View. We wanted to come back for a longer stay. The house and its location are superb. We enjoyed the peacefulness and remoteness of the landscape and the home is 11 out of 10. It is full of generosity, quality and thoughtfulness from the design to all the appliances and provisions that make your stay easy and enjoyable. Sunrise is worth getting up for and ever changing --- from the mist on the sea to the hillock in front with the cows standing on top. A magical landscape and Mount View is a creative sanctuary within it.
